Halloween Special: the imagined layout of several memorable locations in the works of Poe, including the setting of The Raven, Annabel Lee, Ulalume, The Fall of the House of Usher, and others. Acanthus leaves form the border. Original is ink on watercolor paper, 15 x 22. Prints are available at full size or scaled down for framing.

Artist's Note
A friend read Ulalume to me, and I was struck by the deliciously named places. Immediately resolved to make a map of other Poe Places, I quickly realized that most of them aren't named. Floundering, I made up some names, and just went from there. The border was surprisingly less awful to do than I anticipated.
